So, really, running the log file option with the KB helped me diagnose the problem. For testing purpose, go to Add/Remove Programs on one of your servers, click the “Show Updates” box. Ran the KB909095 setup again, and it succeeded. Anyone found a fix for it? They are very knowledgeable on this kind of thing.
